Saturdays paddle will be from Garris Landing (formally known as Moores landing) to Capers Island a distance of six miles. This paddle will encompass paddling in the ICW around the south end of Capers Island out into the ocean with a beach landing. Tour kayaks of 14 feet or longer recommended with spray skirts. PFD’s must be worn on all club paddles. We will meet at 7:30 AM at Morse Landing Park in Murrell’s Inlet next to the Hot Fish Club for the purpose of car pooling. It will be a 1.5 hour drive to Garris Landing. Bring water, bug spray, snacks, sun screen, hiking shoes and or swim suits for when we hit the beach.
